I love music - all types, from Aboriginal, African, Classical, Chinese, Country, Drum and Bass, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Indie, Icelandic, Indian, Instrumental, Metal, Pop, Reggae and Blues, Rock, Soul, to Synth. Basically, if the beat is there, I'm there.
Don't even get me started regarding music artists :)
OctaveSync was started because I've always wanted to showcase interesting octaves, and simply put, sounds and music can touch parts of our soul that nothing else can.
I like bands like U2, The Cranberries, Radiohead, Stereo MCs, Smashing Pumpkins, Blur, Nirvana, Oasis, Queen, Lady Antebellum and artists like Barry White, Björk, Dr. DRE, DMX, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Neneh Cherry, Prince, Roddy Ricch, Sam Cook, Stevie Wonder, Sting, UB40, Usher and Youssou N'Dour. Those don't even touch the surface, believe me.

About OctaveSync
What this site is
OctaveSync is a stock audio library built around one idea: you should find the exact take you
need by narrowing, not by auditioning. Every track is classified against a deep, admin-curated
filter tree — categories, subcategories, tags, audio type, mood, tempo band, BPM, duration,
format and quality — so a precise search returns a precise result instead of forty pages you
have to listen through.
Browsing draws waveforms rather than loading audio, so the list stays fast however long the
recordings are, and you can read a track's shape before you press play.
The name
An octave is the interval where a note meets itself again — the same thing, an order of magnitude up. Sync is what audio has to do to be useful: land exactly where the picture, the podcast or the game needs it. The mark above is six bars at six heights:

How the site is funded
OctaveSync takes 30% of each sale to cover storage, bandwidth, review and development; the
other 70% goes to the author who made the recording, paid monthly. There is no advertising

including any performer, sample and publishing clearances — and every upload is reviewed before
it goes live. If you believe a recording infringes your copyright, contact us with its permanent
